Not only 4 main English skills (Listening, Speaking, Writing and Reading) but also other related skills to work and life (such as writing emails, presentation, discussion, etc.) are taught in the English full-time course in Singapore. Therefore, this course will be a priority choice for adults or workers who want to improve general English and business communication English.

Full-time English course in Singapore are:

GLAC-icon-tag1 5 different levels (from Elementary to Advanced), the period of the course is 12 weeks

GLAC-icon-tag1 5 hours/ day (from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm) and 25 hours/ week from Monday to Friday

GLAC-icon-tag1 16 is a maximum student in a class

GLAC-icon-tag1 Foreign teachers who are native English speakers and from some countries such as England, The USA, Australia, etc.

 

Part-time English course in Singapore

General Information

It is the same with the English full-time course BUT the difference is the period of the course. With the part-time course, students will study 3 HOURS/ DAY  (from Monday to Friday) so Student Pass is not required.

Part-time English course in Singapore are:

Short-time English course in Singapore

General Information

Enterprises or workers who are much busy but intend to improve English should consider the short time English course (1 month English course). Studying English in Singapore gives them opportunity to enhance English skills and search Singapore market for enlarging their business. In addition, it will be a chance for students who would like to travel to Singapore, experience culture, get international friends and improve their English skills if they choose this short time course in Singapore.

The short time English course in Singapore are:

GLAC-icon-tag1 15 to 25 hours/ week from Monday to Friday

GLAC-icon-tag1 16 is a maximum student in a class

GLAC-icon-tag1 Foreign teachers who are from countries which use English as a main language such as England, The USA, Australia, etc.

The process and admission procedures in Singapore

Step 1: International students search for information about English centers and courses in Singapore which they prefer to study in. In this step, international students can search by themselves or ask for help from consultancy firm. For Global Link Asia clients, our consulters will support you for free as an adding supporting service for our clients

Step 2: Doing a Placement Test which can be implemented in Singapore English Center or online. In other to saving time and travelling expense, we suggest students doing online test. English center will send you online placement test to your email

Step 3: After receiving a result of the placement test and an application form, students will fill in the form, and then send it to English center

Note: There are some documents required for admission procedure in Singapore

  • A copied photo of passport
  • An image of a student
  • A copied photo of an original and a translated - English birth certificate
  • A copied photo of an original and a translated - English the highest education certificate
  • Complete the placement test
  • Application fee

Step 4: after receiving application form from students, English center will carry out admission procedures and send Letter of offer & Acceptance, Advisory Note and Student Contract to students

GLAC-icon-tag1 Students register the English course by signing on Letter of offer & Acceptance.

GLAC-icon-tag1 The purpose of Advisory note and Student contract is to protect students’ benefits. According to Fee protection scheme-FPS, private English centers in Singapore must sign a contract with Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd to ensure that tuition fees are returned to students in case of English centers are closed.

GLAC-icon-tag1 In addition, students get the following benefits:

  • Tuition fees will be returned by Liberty Insurance Pte Ltd
  • If students are not satisfied with these English courses with any reason, and decide to stop the course within 7 days from the date of enter the course, they will receive 95% of the total tuition fee within 7 working days.
  • Free Health Insurance Policy

Step 5: Immigration Authority Checkpoint sends IPA to the English center (it only spends for registering Student’s Pass of students)  

Note: Only students who choose the full-time English course need apply Student Pass. With the other courses including part-time and short-time, a tourist visa is accepted.

Step 6: When coming to Singapore, students have to do a final test and participate in an orientation of the English center

Step 7: Participate in supporting consultant meeting

Step 8: Sign in Student Contract and payment for tuition fee

Step 9: Recieve Student Pass
